PC Timer is a simple tool to automatically shut down, sign out, restart, or lock your computer based on your scheduled time.

Countdown Timer for Scheduled Tasks

The application features a straightforward interface that, while a bit outdated in appearance, is well-organized and easy to use. The top section displays the timer, allowing you to set the number of hours, minutes, and seconds for the countdown before the selected action is initiated. Once the timer starts, a progress bar appears to show its status.

Scheduling Future Tasks

PC Timer also includes a section for scheduling tasks to execute at a later time. A calendar and clock selector makes it easy to define the execution time.

Shutdown, Restart, and Log Out Options

The lower part of the main window lists the tasks PC Timer .NET can perform. You can choose to shut down, power off, or restart your PC, or configure the application to log out the currently logged-in user. Note that computer hibernation scheduling is not possible with PC Timer .NET.

Prevent Unauthorized Cancellations

One useful feature of PC Timer is the ability to prevent unauthorized cancellations of scheduled tasks. You can set a password that must be provided to abort the operation.
