The year is 1981, and you start as a young officer trainee assigned to a border post in the mountainous region of Karikatka. Entry into the Acarist People's Republic is strictly regulated, and your every move is monitored by the party.

The tension at the border escalates when your comrade is killed during an intervention. Every visitor to your region must present a set of valid documents. Even the slightest discrepancy will result in denial of entry. Over time, the complexity of documents increases, making it harder to spot errors.

As part of the gameplay, you will use a UV flashlight to search vehicles and then use appropriate tools to extract any smuggled goods. No contraband should pass through the border!
